Robot Hall of Fame
The Robot Hall of Fame, established by the School of Computer Science, Carnegie Mellon University, honors "landmark achievements in robotics technology and the increasing contributions of robots to human endeavors." The site features images and information about robots from science and science fiction, including the Mars Pathfinder Sojourner Rover, Unimate (first industrial robot), and movie robots R2-D2 ("Star Wars") and HAL 9000 ("2001: A Space Odyssey").
