This website collects reports, statistics, newsletters, guidelines and best practices, and other documents related to safety and security of the U.S. transit infrastructure. Topics include rail and bus safety, transit security design, alcohol and drug testing, response to terrorist threats, and emergency management. Most materials are from the 1990s to the present. The FTA is an administration within the U.S. Department of Transportation.
