Information on the programs and finances of more than 850,000 American IRS-registered 501(c)nonprofit organizations that may accept tax-deductible contributions. "GuideStar's search engine allows you to search for an organization by keyword or name, activity, city, state, zip code, nonprofit type, revenue range, employer identification number, or NTEE code." The site also maintains resources for nonprofits and for donors.
