Getting Off Commercial Email Lists
From the Direct Marketing Association (DMA), the Email Preference Service (eMPS) lets consumers register addresses that they would like to be kept out of spam lists. DMA members will be required to use the list, and nonmembers will also be able to use the service. The registration expires after five years.
