No Name-Calling Week
Background information, materials, and a forum in which to share plans and programs for the national No Name-Calling Week (March) are featured on this Web site. Inspired by James Howe's middle school novel, "The Misfits," this event is meant to provide public educators practical guidance and motivation for implementing this anti-bullying strategy. Organized by the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN) and Simon & Schuster Children's Publishing.
