Los Angeles Mapped
This exhibit "presents historical maps of Los Angeles from the collections of the Library of Congress Geography and Map Division." Some of the map themes and areas represented include "California as an Island," the Owens River Valley Aqueduct, movie star homes ("star maps"), Los Angeles oil fields in 1906, and the commuter rail system (red cars and yellow cars).
