Northwestern Hawaiian Islands Marine National Monument
Official website for this monument (formerly called the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands Coral Reef Ecosystem Reserve) formally established in June 2006 by the Bush Administration. Features a virtual visit (with photos and descriptions of tiny islands, atolls and shoals), maps, and details about scientific research and cultural and maritime heritage.
