Cone Sutro Forest: Collaborative Observatory for Natural Environments
This game "allows players to earn points by taking live photos and classifying wild birds. CONE Sutro Forest (CONE-SF) combines a remotely controllable robotic pan-tilt-zoom video camera with live streaming video, image database, and point system." Provides project background, a tutorial and FAQ, and a gallery of birds spotted by players. Most features require free registration. Developed by researchers at the University of California, Berkeley, and Texas A&M University.
