Website for the museum composed of this battleship that served as flagship of the Third Fleet under Admiral Halsey in the Pacific during World War II from August 1944 to January 1945. Includes a history of this ship launched in December 1942 and decommissioned for the final time in 1991, covering activity in WWII, Korea, Vietnam, and the Middle East. Also includes photos, and material about touring and youth-oriented overnight programs.
