This illustrated feature from September 2008 celebrates the centennial of General Motors (GM). It notes that "it is the holding company that celebrates its centennial on Sept. 16. Many of its elements were founded earlier than that date in 1908 when Durant incorporated GM in Flint, Mich." Of particular interest is a section on GM's most significant cars, which includes models such as the 1959 Cadillac and the 1963 Buick Riviera. From AutoWeek magazine.
