National Museum of American Illustration
This museum "exhibits original artworks from the 'Golden Age of American Illustration' (1870-1965) featuring the greatest illustration artists" such as Norman Rockwell, Maxfield Parrish, and N.C. Wyeth. The collection is housed in Vernon Court, "a French chateau mansion from the 'Gilded Age,' designed by Carrere & Hastings." Site includes an architectural history of the building and a virtual tour of the collection and biographies and selected images of works by over a dozen artists.
