This consortium researches applications and uses of coal combustion byproducts (CCBs), which include coal fly ash, coal bottom ash, boiler slag, and flue gas desulfurization (FGD) gypsum. Although some of the website's material is technical, it includes general information such as definitions, a historical timeline, an ask-the-expert feature, and government regulations.
