Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art
Founded by author and illustrator Eric Carle, this Amherst, Massachusetts, museum is "the first full-scale museum in this country devoted to international picture book art, conceived and built with the aim of celebrating the art that we are first exposed to as children and that we carry with us throughout our lives." In addition to information about museum programs and exhibits, the site features children's literature resources and subject bibliographies of children's books.
