The Books for Asia program distributes books, software, and other educational materials throughout Asia. The site provides donation guidelines for publishers, college bookstores, wholesalers, other organizations, and individuals. Also highlights specific programs and lists recipient organizations and program partners. The Asia Foundation is a nongovernmental organization that supports "programs in Asia that help improve governance and law, economic reform and development, women's empowerment, and international relations."
