Beginner's Guide to Aeronautics
This site provides an introduction to the fundamentals of aerodynamics and propulsion and includes diagrams and explanations (linked to further materials) on: airplanes and their parts; lift; thrust; air properties; gliders; wind tunnels; curve ball; forces; and propulsion. There are interactive animated versions for many of the pages. Prepared by the NASA Learning Technologies Project and geared toward secondary math and science teachers.
