"The Fort Ord Reuse Authority (FORA) is responsible for the redevelopment of the former Fort Ord Military Reservation, a 45 square mile/28,000 acre facility" in Monterey County, California. The site includes the "Ford Ord Reuse Plan" and describes the efforts to transfer this property to civilian use starting in the early 1990s.
