Enola Gay Archive
Documents from the controversy concerning the 1994 National Air and Space Museum plan to exhibit the B-29 that dropped the atomic bomb on Hiroshima, Japan. Air Force Magazine and the Air Force Association objected to the context of the exhibit and the exhibition was cancelled and replaced "with a straightforward program that eventually became the most popular exhibition in the museum's history." This site presents material "drawn upon by all parties to the controversy."
