It includes what to do during a quake, family and home planning, first aid kits for both home and office, useful supplies and equipment, safe drinking water, portable auto survival kit, fire extinguishers, emergency lighting and food supplies, and cooking. Additionally, information is provided for how to shut off utilities, secure heavy furnishings and hot water heaters, help children and adults cope with disaster, emergency communications, and more.
