Patented Medicines Prices Review Board (PMPRB)
This Canadian board "is an independent, quasi-judicial body" created to protect consumers from escalating prices for pharmaceuticals. PMPRB provides annual reports to the Canadian Parliament on price trends for medicines in Canada and on "the ratio of research & development expenditure to sales by patentees."
