National Comorbidity Survey (NCS)
"The baseline NCS ... [1990-1992] was the first nationally representative mental health survey in the U.S. to use a fully structured research diagnostic interview" to assess the prevalence of mental health disorders in the U.S. The NCS Replication survey (NCS-R) was released in June 2005. The site includes a bibliography of publications and a link to NCS data. (NCS-R data is scheduled to be available in 2006.) From the Harvard School of Medicine.
