Fire and Mud: Eruptions and Lahars of Mount Pinatubo, Philippines
This site describes the 1991 eruption of Mt. Pinatubo and the extensive mudflows which followed in 1991-1992. There are articles, many of which are academic or technical, on the geologic and human aspects of the eruption. There are also many photographs and extensive seismic information, with a description of the operation of a telemetered seismic network. This site is essentially an online version of the book, published in 1996.
