The Aspen Institute
Founded in 1949 with a focus on "great books" discussions intended to broaden executives' minds, the Aspen Institute has gradually expanded its charge to become an informal leadership think tank for "CEOs of Fortune 500 companies, leaders of high-tech companies, diplomats, city leaders, [and] world-renowned artists and writers." The site describes the institute's seminars, policy programs, conferences, and other initiatives. Also find publications on energy, the environment, the economy, globalization, and children and families. Searchable.
