US-CERT: United States Computer Emergency Readiness Team
"Established in 2003 to protect the nation's Internet infrastructure, US-CERT coordinates defense against and responses to cyber attacks across the nation." The site features information for system administrators, computer professionals, and nontechnical and government users. Information for home users includes recovering from a Trojan horse computer virus, and home computer security issues (such as anti-virus programs, firewalls, email attachments). Updates are provided by the "National Cyber Alert System." Part of the Department of Homeland Security.
