The Fox Talbot Museum
William Henry Fox Talbot was a philosopher, classicist, Egyptologist, mathematician, philologist, and physicist but he is best known as the inventor of the positive/negative photographic process. This site includes a brief biography and a description of his work. There is also information about the museum at Lacock Abbey, in Wiltshire, England.
