This site provides information for "the Ancient Near East research community (scholars and laypersons alike) for content, ideas, resources and information exchange." Resources include information on exhibitions, lectures, and other events; a glossary; a list of researchers; and links to university departments, research institutions, museums, journals, and volunteer and job opportunities. Emphasis is on prehistory to the Muslim conquest of the seventh century CE. (Note: When we evaluated this site, it wasn't working in Internet Explorer.)
