Frosted Windows: 300 Years of St. Petersburg Through Western Eyes
On the 300th anniversary of St. Petersburg in Russia, the Kenneth Spencer Research Library presents an exhibition of the history of this great city. The site traces the history of the city, variously called Sankt Pieter Burkh, Peterborough, Petrograd, Leningrad, and St. Petersburg, using annotated images from books and other publications.
