The Program for Monitoring Emerging Diseases is a "global electronic reporting system for outbreaks of emerging infectious diseases and toxins." ProMED-Mail serves as a central site for news, updates, and discussions of outbreaks of emerging and re-emerging diseases. The site also features discussion group announcements, recent recalls and alerts, links to maps of outbreaks, a FAQ, and related links. Available in several languages. A program of the International Society for Infectious Diseases (ISID).
