Information Searches That Solve Problems
This December 2007 survey found that people who "have faced one of several common government-related problems in the past two years are more likely to consult the internet than other sources" and "members of Gen Y [age 18-30] are the leading users of libraries for help solving problems and in more general patronage." Features highlights of survey findings, the full report and questionnaire, and the press release. From the Pew Internet and American Life Project.
