San Francisco Architectural Heritage
Through "lectures, workshops, seminars and architectural walking tours," this organization maintains "a public appreciation and understanding of the cultural, aesthetic and economic value of San Francisco [California's] architecturally and historically significant structures and districts," and acts to help preserve them. The site contains news, information on events and tours, a list of buildings the organization has helped preserve, newsletters, FAQs, and a glossary. Also features brief profiles of architects Bernard Maybeck, Julia Morgan, and Albert Pissis.
