International Education Week (IEW)
IEW, which takes place in mid-November, is a "joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education ... to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences in the United States." The site features suggested IEW activities for students (such as participating in a Model UN), a list of IEW events, and related material.
