This website was created to widen the scope of the 2007 Ken Burns documentary series "The War," by "telling the [Word War II] story of Ohio-area people." Read shared stories and view photos and videos of war experiences. Free registration required to submit a story. Also includes material for teachers. A collaboration of PBS stations in Ohio, funded by the Ohio Humanities Council.
