Seattle Monorail
The Seattle Center Monorail is the nation's first full-scale commercial monorail system. It was built for the 1962 Seattle World's Fair to provide a link between the fairgrounds and downtown. The site features a brief monorail history (with links to related sites), a map, schedule and fare information, and rider alerts, such as about the service stoppage in August 2006.
