Publisher: Pew Internet Internet Evolution: Riding the Waves of "Web 2.0" This October 2006 report looks at "Web 2.0," a "catch-all buzzword that people use to describe a wide range of online activities and applications." It provides an overview of Web 2.0 and some of the concepts (such as blogs, wikis, and podcasts) that have been associated with the trend, and statistics showing the rise of services such as Photobucket, Wikipedia, and MySpace.
