This site offers an entertaining, unique display of skulls and skull information. Several scientists offer interrelated definitions of what a skull is. The Structure and Function section displays wonderfully photographed skulls and describes them in detail. A Diversity section compares elephant, bear, walrus, and other skulls. The Living Tissue section reveals what can be learned from skull specimens. The Skulls in Culture section collects 12 detailed images from popular and art culture with accompanying descriptions.
