A 290-page report about perceptions of libraries, based on extensive research conducted by OCLC in the summer of 2005. "The findings indicate that information consumers view libraries as places to borrow print books, but they are unaware of the rich electronic content they can access through libraries." Discusses the possible datedness of the library brand and provides public comments. The report is downloadable for free in whole or in part (a bound paper version is available for purchase).
