This "community-owned utility provides irrigation water and electric power to the lower southeastern portion of California's desert." The site provides a history of this organization founded in 1911, and details about its current management and operations, including the All-American Canal. Millions of acre-feet of Colorado River water "[are] delivered annually through the All-American Canal to nine cities and 500,000 acres of agricultural lands throughout the Imperial Valley."
