Sunbeds, Tanning and UV Exposure URL: http://www.who.int/mediacentre/factsheets/fs287/en/ Description: This March 2005 fact sheet discusses the health consequences of using artificial tanning sunbeds such as skin cancer, skin aging, eye damage, sunburn reactions, and childhood ultraviolet (UV) radiation exposure. The document advocates government regulation of commercial sunbeds, and lists groups for whom indoor tanning is not recommended (such as children and people with a large number of moles).
