Description:
This ongoing project integrates artwork with restored native landscapes at seven sites along the Columbia River in Oregon and Washington state. Artist and architect Maya Lin designs the installations to "reflect a consciousness of the tremendous changes set in motion by the Corps of Discovery in the Northwest -- on its native people and environment." Includes project news, images of planned sites, and details about educational initiatives with schools in Washington state and Oregon.
