Mobile Millennium

Starting in November 2008 and "spanning 18 months, the Mobile Millennium project will design, test and implement a state-of-the-art system to collect traffic data from GPS-equipped mobile phones and estimate traffic conditions in real-time." This site provides background, links to news, and an opportunity for you to download software so your cell phone can become a mobile traffic sensor.
