I Do: Love and Marriage in 19th Century Canada URL: http://www.collectionscanada.gc.ca/love-and-marriage/index-e.html Description: This online exhibition presents digitized letters and journal entries of a Canadian couple, "covering a period roughly from 1843 to 1846, [which] provide us with one example of courtship and record the trials they endured for the sake of love." The exhibit is accompanied by a database of more than 10,000 microfilm images of marriage bonds from the 18th and 19th centuries. Also includes links to related sites.
