"Current information about the world's most prestigious architecture award and its Laureates." Most of the profiles of the laureates include photographs, brief biographies, acceptance speeches, and essays on their works. The Prize was "established by the Hyatt foundation in 1979 to honor annually a living architect whose built work demonstrates ... talent, vision, and commitment." The award was given to a woman, Zaha Hadid, for the first time in 2004.
