This group is dedicated to Maud Hart Lovelace, the children's book author who is best known for her "Betsy-Tacy" series. The site has information about the book series, which provides a fictionalized account of Lovelace's childhood at the turn of the twentieth century in Mankato (renamed Deep Valley), Minnesota. Also includes a brief biography, photos, information about the society's activities and newsletter, and directions for subscribing to the Maud-L listserv.
