Living Together: A New Look at Racial and Ethnic Integration in Metropolitan Neighborhoods
URL: http://www.brookings.edu/reports/2004/04demographics_fasenfest.aspx

Description:
In this 2004 report, the authors analyzed the changing racial and ethnic populations in America's 10 largest metropolitan areas, comparing data from the 1990 and 2000 censuses. They concluded that "the emergence of more mixed-race communities, especially those with growing Hispanic and Asian populations, calls out for examining how policy might foster racial and ethnic integration, and encourage positive social outcomes in an increasingly diverse society." Includes tables and charts. From the Brookings Institution.
