The Ig® Nobel Prizes view detail comment email this

Every October, Ig Nobel Prizes are awarded to "honor achievements that first make people laugh, and then make them think. The prizes are intended to celebrate the unusual, honor the imaginative—and spur people's interest in science, medicine, and technology." Find award winners, video clips of the award ceremonies, "personal reminiscences of some participants," and more. Ig Nobel Prizes activities are organized by the Annals of Improbable Research (AIR).
