Stevedores -- Labor unions International Longshore and Warehouse Union: ILWU Historical Information 
 History of this labor union whose origins "lie in the longshore industry of the Pacific Coast -- the work of loading and unloading ships' cargoes." Discusses key events in the union's history, involving both the longshoremen (who load and unload cargo) and the warehouse division (which stores, processes, and distributes cargo).
