Mosquito Fleet Trail (MFT) view detail comment email this

The "Mosquito Fleet" in the Puget Sound area of Washington state "consisted of individually owned and operated vessels of varying size that would keep a somewhat regular [ferry] service between the various waterfront communities." This site provides a brief history of the Mosquito Fleet and of the development of the MFT, "a 57-mile roadside hike and bike route along the shores of the Kitsap Peninsula" that will connect historic Mosquito Fleet docks.
