This site presents gasoline price averages for eight regions of the United States: New England, Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, Great Lakes, Southwest, Midwest, Mountain West, and the Pacific Coast. Offers an online calculator that allows users to enter their starting city, destination, and vehicle information (for newer car models) to determine fuel cost, miles, and gallons used. Fuel price data is provided by the Oil Price Information Service (OPIS). From the American Automobile Association (AAA).

The results of daily surveys (via credit card transactions) of more than 60,000 self-serve gas stations in the U.S. are posted here courtesy of the American Automobile Association (AAA). Find national, state, and metropolitan area prices for regular, premium, and diesel fuel. Also lists price yesterday, a month, and a year ago as well as highest recorded price for regular unleaded and diesel.
