Animal welfare American Anti-Vivisection Society (AAVS) Dedicated to the abolition of using animals in research, dissection, testing, and experimentation, the AAVS is a non-profit animal advocacy and educational organization. Keiko starred in the 1993 movie, "Free Willy." His rescue from a Mexico City amusement park and eventual release into the wild were featured in the television documentary, "The Free Willy Story." Keiko died on December 12, 2003.
