Online companion to a traveling exhibition "comprising more than 100 portraits from over 15 countries. The exhibition begins in the Precolumbian era, continues through the viceregal and independence periods, and into the modern era. It ends with contemporary portraiture." The website features short essays on each time period and selected images from the exhibition (with descriptions), a map of Latin America, teacher resources, and information about the exhibition. In English and Spanish.
