Covers "housing construction types in seismically active areas of the world." Search database by building location, building, rural or urban construction, economic level of inhabitants, building material, type of load-bearing structure, number of stories, seismic vulnerability rating, and other criteria. A hazard map for each country displays areas at greater risk. From the Earthquake Engineering Research Institute (EERI).

Seismic hazard maps for selected quadrangles in southern and northern California. Areas covered include portions of Alameda, Los Angeles, Orange, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, and Ventura counties with additional areas planned for later release. Maps show detailed images of areas which have the potential for liquefaction or other earthquake-induced ground displacement. Information on ordering paper copies of maps is also available.
